While away on yet another summer trip, Cafe Drake's dear friend Jen Ruske made the sacrifice to house-sit for a week, giving extra special care to sick Sailor Page. So smitten with Ms. Ruske was our mascot that he barely blinked upon our late afternoon arrival home, but jumped and meowed vigorously when Auntie Ruske showed up after a long work day. Jenny Lazzaro joined for a dinner threesome, slurping up Ruske's meal of Dover Sole filets with a butter sauce and zucchini ribbons fried with goat cheese and fresh mint and parsley.
