September forever brings a new spark of life, a shot in the arm, to NYC's art galleries and several friends of Cafe Drake have shows you really need to see if you're in the area. We thrilled to Thordis Adalsteinsdottir's fourth solo show at Stefan Stux and also caught the same evening hubby and wife Dan Davidson's and Tricia Keightly's ingenius double act at the Better Half exhibition at the LES's Educational Allaince. Also check out Dan's current solo show, Double Act, at Sloane Fine Art. Meridith Pingree channeled her inner schoolgirl to create a diorama-inspired sculpture at Daily Operation's I Wanna Be Somewhere (sadly, unfairly, one night only) while Diana Kingsley has a selection of Polaroids hanging at Leo Castelli.
