Snapshots of a Summer Kitchen

Because it's what we had, in the fridge. And it was magnificent! Cornbread, kale, roasted tomatoes and chilies, yellow split pea soup, veggie turkey slices, turmeric rice and kimchi.

Kohlrabi and baby mustard greens continue to flourish in the Cafe Drake HRV gardens.
Another salad of Small Things - baby arugula, red-veined sorrel, mustard flowers, lemon balm and nasturtium leaves.

Throw it on a plate and call it Dinner: black beans; brown rice; avocado, tomato and sorrel salad and queso fresco.

So much dill to harvest and dry . . .
