Cold Rainy (SPOOKY) Nights Continue in the HRV (Hudson River Valley)

 While we worry incessantly over our drowning, shivering herb garden outside, Cafe Drake HRV celebrates the Gothic weather on a red sofa, under blankets and throws, with Lloyd curled at our side. Tonight? An annual viewing of rural Northeast horror 70's masterpiece Let's Scare Jessica To Death followed by a couple of late-night hours with Charles L. Grant's elegant fright-fest Connecticut novel The Hour of the Oxrun Dead. Oh yeah, and Indian dinner of Charred Onion Masoor Dhal, Basmati Rice, fresh Cilantro-Mint Chutney and Turnips with Greens.
