Arabella and Agnes became BFFs almost immediately. Both are good about sharing toys, Aggie loves giving hugs and Arabella loves giving sloppy kisses!

A few delicate greens have finally emerged from the Cafe Drake HRV gardens. Above we rinsed and then enjoyed tossed together as a small side salad: red-veined sorrel, arugula, mache, baby mustard greens and lemon balm.

The garden herbs have begun to flourish as well and were added to roasted vegetables and quinoa and sunflower burgers: above, thyme, marjoram and Greek oregano.

Leftover quinoa is mixed with sunflower butter, tamari and lots of fresh herbs for a quick vegan burger dinner.
