A Cold Afternoon and A Warm Visit

A sunny, chilly Saturday which felt more like winter than autumn was warmed recently by a visit from Susan McKeever-Duys. The afternoon was spent catching up, enjoying a lunch of Spicy Sweet Potato Soup; Pizza with Roasted Brussels Sprouts, Smoked Mozzarella and Dried Cranberries,; a green salad and hard cider. After our mid-day meal and a dessert of salted butter cookies and espresso, we bundled up Arabella Page and took a long stroll along the Hudson River.
