Visiting Thordis, David and Zoe in NYC

We generally hang with this clan at their country home in Sharon Springs, NY but paid a rare visit to their NYC abode recently. Arabella and Zoe bonded instantly.

Even Daphne loved Arabella. (Take a hint, Lloyd).

Above two photos: waiting for a dinner table at the world's most forlorn restaurant, Bunker on the Bushwick/Ridgewood border. Weird location but inspired, modern Vietnamese cuisine. If the Long Bean and Coconut Salad is on the specials menu when you go, order it! Ditto the roasted salmon with spicy rice noodles and mint leaves.
