Make Ahead Meal (or not): Turkey and Stuffing Meatloaf
Turkey and Stuffing Meatloaf with Sweet Potatoes |
Cafe Drake HRV created our turkey and stuffing meatloaf (as we dubbed it) when craving traditional holiday flavors minus the fuss. |
above two photos: leftover meatloaf should never be discarded, just recycled, endlessly. We love it sliced thin and served cold with mustard, pickles, chutney or fresh cranberry relish. |
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Mix together in a large bowl, with two clean hands: 1 lb. ground turkey, 1 cup crushed croutons, 1/2 t. celery seeds, 1 t. dried sage, 1 minced onion (a small one will do ), just under 1 t. dried mustard powder, 2 t. smoked paprika, 1 t. salt, black pepper to taste, 1/2 cup milk, 2 beaten eggs and 1 T. Worcestershire sauce. That's it. Shape into a rounded loaf, place on oiled baking sheet and cook for 45 minutes in your preheated oven.
