Make Ahead Meal (or not): Turkey and Stuffing Meatloaf

Turkey and Stuffing Meatloaf with Sweet Potatoes

Cafe Drake HRV created our turkey and stuffing meatloaf (as we dubbed it) when craving traditional holiday flavors minus the fuss.

above two photos: leftover meatloaf should never be discarded, just recycled, endlessly. We love it sliced thin and served cold with mustard, pickles, chutney or fresh cranberry relish.
At Cafe Drake HRV we opt nowadays for baking meatloaf on a cookie sheet, surrounded with veggies for roasting at the same time. If you prefer a true "loaf" simply follow the recipe below but turn the turkey mixture into a well-oiled loaf pan. Cooking times remain the same.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F. Mix together in a large bowl, with two clean hands: 1 lb. ground turkey, 1 cup crushed croutons, 1/2 t. celery seeds, 1 t. dried sage, 1 minced onion (a small one will do ), just under 1 t. dried mustard powder, 2 t. smoked paprika, 1 t. salt, black pepper to taste, 1/2 cup milk, 2 beaten eggs and 1 T. Worcestershire sauce. That's it. Shape into a rounded loaf, place on oiled baking sheet and cook for 45 minutes in your preheated oven.
