Ruske's Inaugural BBQ

Finally, a break from the rains. And on a pleasantly cool, dry evening Jen Ruske and Anthony Castro opened their backyard for a small celebration of the outdoor season to come. Hot from the grille came tender chicken and perfect cheeseburgers and spicy charred leeks, along with baked potatoes with all the fixings, a hot artichoke dip from Michael B, pasta salad from Jen L, homemade ricotta (three ways) and oh yes, Jen R's scrumptious sour cream apple pie - a perfect end to a meal signalling the beginning of a new Summer.
