Cafe Sellers

A warm summer night recently provided the relief of a cool dinner party at the home of hip parents David and Natalie. Entertainment was provided by the adorable Julian Sellers, growing cuter and more inquisitive and already showing signs of an amusing host-to-be. Cafe Drake regular Miki-san rounded out the foursome of adults, and everyone had a chance to catch up while sipping chilled sake and munching kalamata olives before the meal (even Julian! who happily consumed three or four briny olives alone). Dinner was a well composed green salad, fragrant basmati rice, an Asian-influenced stir-fry of mixed vegetables and Polynesian pork loin, marinated then baked with pineapple and peppers. All was delicious and the general merriment can be seen above in photos from the party.
