One Last Time. For Awhile . . .

Heading tomorrow for a year-long teaching position in Thailand, painter/sculptor/dear friend Thordis Adalsteinsdottir happily found time to drop by for a last-minute overnight visit at Cafe Drake HRV, en route to closing up her country home in Sharon Springs, NY. Sweet daughter Zoe stayed transfixed in front of Roku while the adults grazed through a multi-course meal of carrot and dill soup (all from our garden), Korean Deviled Eggs and homemade Tabouli with Broiled Tofu Steaks, house Pickles and just-plucked Side Yard Salad.
