It's a rare night Cafe Drake hits the after party in these older days, but if we're gonna cut loose there's only one neighborhood up to the challenge; besides providing a sort of casual anonymity, East Bushwick tweaks us in unusual ways. The Wreck Room (940 Flushing Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11206), on a forlorn stretch of Flushing Avenue, offers a respite from the forlorn surroundings with all-night DJs and ultra-cheep drink specials. Mind you, while all the kids may show up for 4PM brunch the next day, Cafe Drake must nurse the multi-toxin hangover for at least 48 hours before hitting the avenues behind wraparound sunglasses.
